A truly inspiring story that makes you think about how little the elderly are truly thought about in today's society. Everyone needs to read this book in order to open their eyes on how the so called "Justice System" treats the people that need their help the most. The author states that one day it could be you that gets a pill shoved down your throat and drained of your life's hard work; in order for the ones that are supposed to protect you to become even more filthy rich than they already are. By reading this book at least you'll be able to spot it coming and find ways to protect yourself; because no one else is.

Dear ANONYMOUS Reader from Sedona: I'm sorry to say, but you're all wrong. You obviously did not read Stoltz's "Turning Obstacles into Opportunities". You cannot appreciate the value of the metaphor when you don't know anything about the extensive investigation and thorough scientific research behind it. That's a stupid as thinking you can learn to drive by reading the operators manual of a car. The metaphor is not the method itself.

About the Author
Since the spring of 2003, Joseph Carter has been engaged in developing a new and unusual activity; hunting with a tamed mink. Joseph was trained in the art of falconry as a teenager, and because hunting with mink is somewhat similar, he calls his new sport “minkenry.” In this book, you will learn about mink, how Joseph originally came to be interested in hunting with them, and the methods he uses to care for mink and train them to hunt.

Don't let the title fool you......it's pretty straight forward stuff :-)

In brief: read this to begin to get your head around the idea of multiple perspectives on 'taken for granted' notions and knowledge sources in whatever society/ culture you are placed in.
This is a really liberating way of understanding the human world we live in, and challenges many of the conventional and traditional institutions and sources of 'power' in the world.
I'm still reading it, and look forward to each chapter.....
