Don't let the title fool you......it's pretty straight forward stuff :-)

In brief: read this to begin to get your head around the idea of multiple perspectives on 'taken for granted' notions and knowledge sources in whatever society/ culture you are placed in.
This is a really liberating way of understanding the human world we live in, and challenges many of the conventional and traditional institutions and sources of 'power' in the world.
I'm still reading it, and look forward to each chapter.....

Book Delivers

One would think that a text book could be boring and obtuse. Not so with this one. Very well written and descritive. Conclusions made by the author are supported by her logic and information. Thanks.

I also liked that I got the book when I needed it for school. It did not take more than a week to get to me.
